InspireMedia is HomeInspire’s in-house film & production studio.
We create cinematic films, architect interviews and social content for architects, interior designers, developers and brands. Every project is shot by the same team that produces HomeInspire.
We are also licensed drone operators, capturing striking aerial footage of homes, buildings and sites.
Founded by an Architectural Designer, InspireMedia makes design-led films that tell the story behind a project: the brief, the people and the detail. From one-off project films to full build series filmed from site to reveal, every film is made to be watched, not skipped.

Recent Work
Mid-Century House, Wimbledon
Designed by EMR Architecture
Mid Century House began as a Victorian house split into two flats. EMR Architecture turned it back into a single home for a family of four, with a rear extension, a new loft floor and a garden studio, finished in oak, marble and herringbone with a strong mid-century feel.
This project was all about light and craft, so the film follows both. We start at the restored stained-glass front door and move through the house, following the internal glass panel that pulls daylight from front to back. We take in the curved wall that echoes the stair, the sunken snug under its roof light, and the kitchen island designed to read as a piece of furniture. Emilie Mauran explains the brief and the thinking behind each move, so the viewer understands why the house works, not just how it looks.
The horizontal film was produced for HomeInspire, alongside vertical social cuts now feature on EMR Architecture’s website and marketing channels, plus an additional shorter horizontal film (below) which was specifically produced for EMR, for their project page on their website.
Woven House, Mapesbury
Designed by Studio Tashima
An Edwardian semi in the Mapesbury Conservation Area, reworked with three interlocking roof volumes, charcoal brick and bronze. We filmed slow, considered sequences of the arches, stepped floors and vaulted ceiling, with close-ups of the bronze ironmongery and reclaimed furniture, alongside an interview with architect Charles Tashima, which made it a project that needed to be seen in motion, not just photographed.
We planned the shoot around the light. Slow tracking shots carry the viewer through the open arches and down the stepped floors to the garden, showing how the plan flows. Close-ups pick out the details that are easy to miss in photos: the bronze door handles and switches, the slate stair, the 19th-century French dispensary unit, and the steel columns clad to look like cast iron. Architect Charles Tashima talks through the decisions behind each one, so the film explains the design as well as showing it.
Our shoot produced a horizontal project film for HomeInspire, as well as a set of vertical social cuts, which Studio Tashima now use on their own website and marketing. We also produced further social media cinematic clips specifically for Studio Tashima, for their own social channels.
“As an interior designer, it really is great to see how beautifully Dan captures the interiors of home. Every detail, every frame, every angle carefully considered.”
Val, Interior Designer & Previous Client
Founded by Dan Burge, an architectural designer who spent over a decade in practice before building HomeInspire into one of the UK's biggest architecture platforms.
Dan spent more than ten years designing homes in residential practice across the South of England. He started filming projects to show how good design really feels to live in, and that grew into HomeInspire, now seen by millions of people every month.
That background shapes every film. Dan knows how to read a set of drawings, what a client brief is trying to achieve, and why the architect fought for a particular rooflight or junction. On site, that means less time explaining and more time getting the shots that matter: the way light moves through a plan, the material changes, the details that took months to resolve.
InspireMedia was set up to bring that same approach to practices, designers and brands directly. Based in the south west however covering across the UK working with Architects, Interior Designer & Developers.
